First Deepend Teacher Workshop

The first Deepend Teacher Workshop occurred on Saturday April 18, 2015 with 13 teacher learning about the DEEPEND program, background content about the deep sea environment and STEM-related activities they can take back to their classrooms to use with students.  These teachers are now applying to be a DEEPEND Teacher-at-Sea and 3 of them will be joining the DEEPEND team on cruises throughout the year.  Pictures from the event are on the DEEPEND education page.
